Research & doctorate
PhD candidate in psychology and neuroscience. Practice without research becomes routine over time. Research without practice becomes literature. My doctorate in psychology and neuroscience sits exactly in between: the questions come from the consulting room, and the answers go back to it.
Together with Dr Alina Diana Nemes I have built a series of randomised controlled studies on multimodal neurotechnological interventions: qEEG neurofeedback, cerebral photobiomodulation and heart-brain biofeedback.
The doctorate continues in the same direction: the link between nervous-system regulation and psychological functioning. Which is exactly the question asked in the consulting room - why do I understand everything and still cannot calm down.
In short
- PhD candidate in psychology and neuroscience
- 5 clinical studies published internationally
- Co-author, alongside Dr Alina Diana Nemes
- Trainer in neurotherapy
What kind of research we do
Not "is it spectacular", but "where does it work"
We were never interested in proving that the technology impresses, but in who it measurably helps: secondary-school children, entrepreneurs, adults in their forties, healthy older people.
Objective measurements
qEEG, cardiac coherence and validated psychometric instruments, with an experimental group and a control group. Correlations, regressions and effect sizes.
What is not confirmed gets said
The results go to international journals with their limitations declared. What is confirmed enters the protocols; what is not stays out.
Four steps, in this order
The question from the consulting room
Every study starts from a pattern observed clinically, not from a fashionable topic.
Controlled design
An experimental group and a control group, objective qEEG and cardiac coherence measurements, validated psychometric instruments.
Publication
The results go to international journals, with the data and the limitations declared.
The return to practice
What is confirmed enters the protocols. What is not is stated just as clearly.
The studies, in short
| Study | On whom | What it looked at |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy longevity | Adults, followed longitudinally | Physiological and neurocognitive markers |
| Attention and school performance | Children aged 11-15, nationwide | Attention and school results |
| Brain Fitness in business | 300 entrepreneurs | Productivity, focus, stress levels |
| Cerebrum 40 | Active adults, from 40 onwards | Prevention of subclinical cognitive decline |
All published in the International Journal of Scientific Development and Research, 2025. The full links are below.

Not sure this is the right field for you?
A first conversation clears up exactly that. You tell me what is happening, I tell you honestly which field the work belongs to and whether someone else is needed.
